The call for presentations to SCSSS2025 is now open. We solicit 30-minute presentations on safety engineering topics aimed at an industrial audience.
System and software safety in electronic systems is becoming increasingly central in many industries and as part of often critical societal infrastructure. The systems become ever more complex, connected and autonomous — and the software continues to grow. This poses many challenges even for mature organizations, requiring approaches that go beyond established best practices.
The Scandinavian Conference on Systems and Software Safety (SCSSS) has become a central meeting place for Scandinavian safety experts from industry, public and academic organizations. Collaborating with other important relevant organizations, such as the Swedish Network for System Safety, SAFER and the Swedish Electromobility Centre, SCSSS has managed to gather roughly 100 participants, primarily safety engineers from industry, each year since 2013. The conference features presentations from industry and academia, with a strong emphasis on networking.
This year SCSSS2025 is organized as a workshop at SafeComp2025, which is an annual international conference covering the state-of-the-art, industrial experiences and new trends in the areas of safety, security and reliability of critical computer applications. Should you attend both conferences, SafeComp provides further opportunities to exchange insights and experience on emerging methods, approaches and practical solutions.
Submit your abstract for a presentation at the workshop already today. (300 words, via easychair.org/conferences/?conf=scsss2025)
Important dates: 5th of May – Last day for submitting Presentation Abstracts 19th of May – Notification of acceptance 9th of September – Conference, Stockholm, KTH Valhallavägen Campus
